Day 2 Hanoi

Pick-up by your English speaking guide at the lobby of your hotel – Discovery of Hanoi highlights by a/c vehicle – Visit the Temple of literature, the one single pillar pagoda the house and mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh

Afternoon:

Resume the visit with the very rich Museum of Ethnology and the colorful Don Xuang market – Transfer back to your hotel by end of the day

Day 3 Hanoi – Halong

Morning:

Pick-up by your English speaking driver at your hotel and transfer by private vehicle to Halong Bay – Arrival at Hong Gai, at the land installations of the cruise company you will travel with – Check-in, welcome procedure and transfer onboard the junk – Welcome drink and briefing about the program in both English and French

Afternoon:

Navigation across the bay of Bai Tu Long – Stop for swimming and visit the Thien Canh Son cave – Relax on the island of Hon Co (swimming, kayak, …) Back onboard – The junk is being moored for the night

Day 4 Halong Hanoï

Morning:

Resume navigation across the bay – Visit the village of fishermen of Vung Vieng – Free time at leisure for relaxing or swimming – Navigation back to Hong Gai

Afternoon: Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi, by a/c vehicle – Arrival in Hanoi – Drop-off at the at your hotel

Day 7 Ninh Binh

Morning:

Discover the Hoa Lu site… This place was once the ancient capital of an eleven century dynasty… If remains of the period are almost inexistent, the pagodas standing there are however worth to be visited

Boat short trip along the rice fields of Tam Coc – Back to your hotel by end of the day

Day 8 Ninh Binh – Hanoï - Hue

Morning:

Transfer to Bich Dong pagoda… It is possible to climb up this peak, up to the top, where one enjoys an amazing panoramic point of view over the whole region and Tam Coc rice fields

 

For those not willing to climb, a visit of the giant Bai Dinh Pagoda can be organized as alternative with entrance fee not included and payable on the spot.

Resume the visit of historical places of Hue – Visit the superb tomb of Ming Manh (Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty) – Visit the colorful Dong Ba market – Transfer back to your hotel by end of the day

Day 10 Hue Hoi-An

Road to Hoi-An by private a/c vehicle – You will pass by the Ocean Clouds Pass road, before getting down to the city of Danang and finally arrive in Hoi- by end afternoon – Drop-off at your hotel – Check-in

Day 11 Hoi-An

Morning:

Pick-up by your English speaking guide at the reception of your hotel – Discover by foot the very small city center of Hoi-An

Afternoon:

Resume the walking discovery of Hoi-An and by mid-afternoon, pick-up your bikes – Bike in direction of the coastline and stop in a village where locals cultivate a common vegetables garden. Walk through the garden as sun gets down and start your cooking lesson

 

You will dine with the fruit of your own preparation – Back to Hoi-An by bike
