NSTRAVEL presents the RV RIVER KWAI… This teak wooden vessel with 10 cabins (equipped with a/c private bathroom and 2 separated single beds) navigates gently up or down river during 4-day programs. It was built in Myanmar, following plans of boats that navigated once on Irrawaddy river, in the time of the Britain colony.
Program escorted by English speaking guide only, it includes full board and all visits. You will namely discover all historical sites related to the Pacific war and the building of the Death Railway train by allied soldiers, prisoners of Japanese army.
Kanchanaburi province is very beautiful and the natural environment of the river often mesmerizes visitors… Colored karst cliffs topped with tropical jungle edging sinuous twists of the river… Cultivated plains alternating with mountains form landscapes that will be the theatre of the cruise all along the program.
Each day, new visits, but all of them are undertaken at slow pace, for a public fond of quietness, comfort, good food, pure air and preserved nature. You will of course see the bridge over River Kwai, a soldiers’ memorial cemetery, the very moving site of the Hell Fire Pass, ethnic villages y humble people and everywhere a beautiful nature intensely green
