BUDDHISM - A PATH TO LIGHT

Since some years ago, Buddhism interests more people in western countries. Most of neophytes believe that it is a religion, having Buddha for god and the Dalai Lama for pope… However, Buddhism is not a religion, neither has god or pope, but yes, it has nuances

Buddhism is a teaching (Dharma) that arose in northern India about 2500 years ago. The prince Siddhartha, abandoned his statute to dedicate himself to the search for freedom of any forms of attachment, origin of suffering. Thanks to deep meditation, He transcended human condition and reach enlightenment. Afterwards, he spent the rest of his life teaching Dharma.

During 3 days, we try to lift the veil on what seems often unclear to Westerners. We limit our role to giving some keys to better understand Dharma, rituals as they are performed in Thailand and the abecedarian of meditation (Vipassana)
