At stride from skytrain station ‘National Stadium’ and the superb ‘Jim Thomson’s House’, this hotel is probably the most original in Bangkok. Gorgeous indeed, Siam@Siam is a real outsider in its category. It is definitely the trendiest hotel in Siam area.

It was designed by an architect and teacher in the very prestigious Chulalongkhorn University of Bangkok. The very creative concept was a wild bet indeed. Raw materials, concrete, steel, decorative elements borrowed from industry, construction or engineering. Siam@Siam certainly amazes but never shocks.

The 203 rooms (from Leisure category to Grand Biz) are all city view, roomy and well equipped: Air conditioning, fully equipped bathroom, satellite television, telephone, fully stocked mini bar, refrigerator, hair-dryer, safe, etc.

The hotel features nice facilities:

a superb swimming pool towering over the city, a wine bar, a big spa, a nice fitness centre, a nice cocktail bar and a very hip restaurant with open air terrace and mezzanine, reminding trendiest ‘underground’ discotheques.

Siam@Siam is probably the most original hotel for a hip public willing to stay next to the very seething commercial area of Bangkok.
