Little hotel nestled at the end of Chaweng North Beach, far from crowds and animation of Chaweng Center. The environment of the hotel is clean, functional, pleasant and spare. Owners are Thai and Japanese and this is obvious when entering Akyra Chura…

The tidy aspect, organized, not over decorated and practical of the Japanese is blended with sweetness, spontaneity, happiness and nonchalance of the Thai. This very much succeeded marriage makes this hotel being a welcoming house we warmly recommend in its category.

The entrance of the resort is on the slope of a hill ending on the beach. The reception and the restaurant (Japan oblige, the menu features also sushi) overlook the garden where several pavilions spread all around it, host the rooms. Another wing next to the reception also hosts some rooms towering around garden and beach.

Akyra Chura counts with a restaurant serving both local and Japanese meals, a cute little spa, a nice swimming pool edging the beach, a furnished terrace a sundeck and a bar… Several activities can be organized in the resort.

The resort features 62 rooms, all decorated and furnished under a clear Japanese influence, expressed by spare but comfortable atmosphere. They all feature: air conditioning, complete bathroom (warm & cold water, etc) flat screen satellite television, refrigerator with fully stocked mini bar, safety box, hairdryer, telephone, coffee and tea machine facility, slippers and bathrobe, complimentary Internet access, etc.

A discovery, a blow of heart… Simple hotel, without pretention but with no doubt, a very good address in its category.

Akyra Chura is a small and initimate house rather designed for couples or families with grown-up kids. Children below 12 years old are not accepted
