ELEPHANTS & RAFTING

This DAY TOUR from CHIANG MAI is particularly appreciated by children and teenagers. All along the day, you will discover life of ELEPHANTS in Northern THAILAND. They are still used nowadays in timber industry for they are the only possible mean to go fetching heavy trunks in deep JUNGLE. You will see them working in a farm and will attend a representation of their strength, skills, docility and intelligence. Afterwards, you will go for a short ride in the JUNGLE and will come back to the farm by traditional ox cart. After a lunch you will go RAFTING downstream on Taeng River. On the way back to CHIANG MAI, you will stop in an orchids’ farm. You will understand how important the production of these beautiful flowers has become in THAILAND today.
