RIVER KWAI JUNGLE RAFTS:

Is already worldwide famous. This revolutionary concept exists since 1976 and has welcome guests from all over the world. Hotel was built on rafts, moored at the banks of ‘Kwai Noi’ River. Yet, the hotel provides comfort and facilities comparable to the international standards. You will enjoy living away from noisy and polluted cities. Silence of the Nature is only disturbed by the smooth lapping of the stream or by some wild animal echoes, coming from deep into the jungle. Huge lush bamboo bushes, hang heavily from top of superb red limestone hills, down to the river. The Mon community, settled in a village next to the resort, take care of the guests necessities. Most of the villagers do work in the resort.

- 14.45: You will take a long tailed boat downstream to the pier of Resotel and there, will take a vehicle up to ‘Hell Fire Pass Memorial’. The destroyed railroad leads to ‘Hin Tok’ bridge and ‘Konyu’ cutting. There, a tablet commemorates the Calvary of P.O.W, forced to achieve a tedious and painful job in horrible conditions.
