The 52 chalets of this charming little rustic resort are located in a very nice garden embellished by tropical trees and plants and sloping from the hill till the nice ‘Ao Prao Beach’. Most of the beaches of this unique island, between Bangkok and the Cambodian border, are superb white sand beaches with pristine turquoise water. It is also true that most of the beaches overcrowded by backpackers face the rising sun, whereas the beach of Ao Prao resort is secluded, facing the falling sun and only reserved to the customers of Ao Prao Resort, Le Vimarn next door and another small property.

The peaceful surrounding of Ao Prao Resort grants a quiet tropical stay at only short distance from Bangkok. All chalets hosting the rooms either face the sea, or are spread upper hill are reachable by a net of hanging bridges giving a typical touch of rain forest walking way to the little realm. They are all dark wood cute little houses provided with private balcony or terrace.

Superior, deluxe, or beach front chalets all feature very nice facilities: Air conditioning, bathroom, dark wooden floor, clear painted walls, rustic furniture and sober decoration, fully stocked mini bar, telephone, satellite television, coffee or tea maker, mini safe, etc. The complex hosts a couple of suites and a very nice family apartment overlooking the property and the sea.
