OVER VIEW

‘NAKHON RACHASSIMA’: (Usually nicknamed ‘Khorat’) is the second city of the country. The whole province (as well as the neighboring ones), hide treasures of architecture. Effectively, the mighty Khmer empire of ‘Angkor’ was far bigger than the actual Cambodia. Many temples were built in Cambodia, but also in Thailand. Though some temples can be visited in Kanchanaburi, Lopburi or Petchburi, most of them are located in ‘Isaan’ region.

What remain from these temples are mostly ruins, or even worse, only stones heaps. Nevertheless, few temples are pretty well conserved and even worthy of comparison with some temples from the famous ‘Angkor’ compound. Thai Khmer temples are mainly located in Ubon Rachatani, Sisaket or Buriram provinces, or close to Khorat town.
NSTRAVEL brings real amateurs of History on the tracks of this lost empire. During the stay, you will discover life of locals, history, handicraft and Isaan food. It is a trip to one of the must unknown regions of Thailand.

DAY 3
MEALS: BREAKFAST
Hearty breakfast in the hotel.
- 08:30: Departure for short sightseeing in downtown Khorat, you will stop at the old walls and doors of the city – Journey back to Bangkok.
- 10:00: Stop at the ‘Farm Chokchai’. Visit this enormous dominium, which is the largest farm in Thailand. Very interesting indeed for it explains how such an industrial farm can work. After the visit, you are in the best place in all South East Asia to eat a perfect juicy TBONE STEAK or PRIME RIB, followed by a delicious ice cream that you will make by yourself, assisted by ‘Ice cream shop technicians’ (lunch & drinks and ice cream are optional and not included in this program)
- 14:30: (approximately) journey back to Bangkok – Arrival foreseen around 17:00 – Drop off at your hotel downtown - End of program
