OVER VIEW

Koh Chang archipelago is located at the eastern part of Thailand, very close to the border with Cambodia. Imagine the area, a myriad of unspoiled tropical islets and bigger islands with some or very little infrastructure. Quality of water is perfect and some beaches are merely images of paradise.

This trek is organized on the biggest island of the archipelago, which is the third largest island of the country: Koh Chang.

On Koh Chang, only the beaches of the Southern part have known some development these recent years, but the centre of the island, covered by high mountain and rain forest, remains totally free from human presence for it is a national park.

This one day trek is not to recommend to those not used to physical effort, since the main activity is climbing up to 500 meters through mountains tracks. You will be picked-up from your hotel early morning and will be dropped-of at Baan Klong Son, where the trek begins. You will trek for approximately 5 to 6 hours and will climb up to 500 metes up the sea level.
br /> You will enjoy the fresh air of the jungle as well as the local flora and fauna, with extraordinary views on the blue waters surrounding the sea and the islands. You will be rewarded your efforts by a refreshing bath in the pristine water of Klong Son waterfall.

Your guide is an expert of the jungle and speaks very good English. He will carry water and food for your lunch which will be serve upper hill.

This trek is one of the most exciting ones you could make in the region for the impressive views you have from the island.
